The 13th National Assembly and People’s Councils elections for the 2011-2016 term will take place nationwide on May 22, 2011. This is the first time the two elections are organized on the same day. Like all localities, Khanh Hoa Province is awaiting the significant event of the country.
Up to now, all preparations for the elections have been made. The provincial Electoral Committee has ordinate with PC 64 Unit of the provincial Police to finish 520 seals of electoral groups, 392 “Elected” seals, 19,500 badges for members of electoral boards, 9,030 propaganda photos and pictures, 27,400 propaganda slogan leaflets and 4,400 bills of election regulations. 1,108,700 ballots, 76,930 biography notices and 19,450 lists of candidates for the 13th National Assembly have been prepared. 1,128,770 ballots, 120,768 biography notices and 19,490 lists of candidates for the provincial People’s Council also are ready.
Forms such as scrutiny report and electoral result report also have been printed and distributed to electoral groups. Polling cards have been issued to voters.
In addition, the provincial authority has set up inspection missions to supervise the preparations at cities, towns and districts. Measures to ensure order and security in the election day have been developed.
With above careful preparations, the two elections in Khanh Hoa Province are expected to be safe, economic and punctual as planned.
