Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) in October rose by 0.36% over September, reported the General Statistics Office. This is the lowest rise during the past 14 months.
The restaurant and food service group increased by 0.06%. Food even fell by 0.49% in CPI.
Three out of eleven commodity groups seeing price decrease were housing - building materials (0.03%), transport 0.13% and post - telecommunication (0.17%).
The decrease in CPI speed is owning to strict implementation of inflation curb in the whole country.
