On October 5, Khanh Hoa Provincial Association of Science Technology in cooperation with Nha Trang Teachers’ Training College held the first Information Technology Day (IT Day). The event was designed to mark the 2011-2012 school year opening ceremony as well as provide opportunities for students and professors to access advanced science technology information and products.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association of Science Technology offered 20 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to poor students and 15 scholarships to IT students. Besides, study devices were granted to the scholars and students joining the event.

Reportedly, VND60 million in total worth of scholarships and gifts were offered.
