Salt production of Khanh Hoa Province so far this year has hit 36,759 tons, including 24,747 tons of food salt and over 12,000 tons of industrial salt.
Salt area of the whole province is 1,078 hectares, including 717 hectares of businesses, 121 hectares of cooperatives and 240 hectares of salt workers.
At present, salt is sold by VND950/kg at Cam Ranh Salt Joint Stock, VND1,000/kg by Khanh Hoa Salt Joint Stock Stock and VND650 – 760/kg by cooperatives and salt workers.
