“Join effort to protect Environment”, “All for a clean and green environment”, “Safe water is a source of life”, “Say no to nylon bags” and “Energy saving” are among messages Khanh Hoa Cycling for Environment (C4E) Club would like to deliver over the past 3 years.

Founded in 2007, Cycling for Environment (C4E) is a national cycling club in Vietnam designed to promote bicycling as an alternative means of transportation, as well as raise awareness about climate change issues.

Khanh Hoa C4E was established in 2008 and designed for cycling enthusiasts who are concerned about the environment. There are currently over 100 volunteers, most of whom are students of environmental technology at Nha Trang University.

In spite of limited funding, all the members have joined effort in many social activities to raise public awareness of environmental protection for the common sake.

Moving Planet Campaign aiming to move our planet forward to a clean energy future is held annually with a bike parade wounding its way through Nha Trang City’s main streets such as Tran Phu, Tran Quang Khai, etc.

Besides, the club has also joined the national C4E in environmentally-themed paintings.

Khanh Hoa C4E hopes to have more funding for their regular activities in all local communities to raise public awareness of climate change as well as to encourage public participation in environmental protection.
