Over the past years, Khanh Hoa Employment Center has become a reliable location for both employers and job seekers either searching for employment or exploring a new career.

In 2011, the center provided job consultancy for 8,490 people and made job recommendations to more than 2,630, helping to reduce an unemployment rate in Khanh Hoa. In addition, 5 job fairs were held to create favorable conditions for employers and recruiters to meet with prospective job seekers.

The center has always enhanced and strengthened its relations with employers at home and abroad, collecting employment information from 50-100 enterprises a month on average.

In cooperation with the local Departments of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs, the center has sent the employment information to job seekers. Besides, the center has cooperated with vocational schools to find skilled labor to meet employers’ labor demand.

Moreover, via mass media, the center has provided information from labor export companies for job seekers in Korea, Japan, Malaysia, etc. In 2011, the center recommended 270 people to work abroad.

The center serves a variety of skill levels from those with advanced degree and many years of experience to those with limited education and work experience. 4,555 application for jobs were sent to the center in 2011.

Ho Viet Tien Son, Director of Khanh Hoa Employment Center said, “The center has made great effort to create a labor market information system to meet job demand and supply. In 2012, the center will open an online job fair worth VND2.5 billion invested by the Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs.

Online job fairs are live and fully interactive enabling employers and job seekers to meet and discuss employment opportunities by way of specialized websites."
