The program is designed to offer computers, internet connectivity facilities and hold computer courses for residents in disadvantaged communities nationwide to achieve a better quality of life and boost economic development.

After 3 years of operation, the program has received VND15 billion financial support, including 2,088 computers, 329 printers, learning materials and other facilities from over 20 organizations and individuals at home and abroad.

In addition, Viettel Khanh Hoa Branch has provided free internet access services for the beneficiaries.

The Department of Information & Communications in cooperation with MIC in July 2011 presented 50 computers and learning materials to 9 schools in Khanh Hoa Province, including Khanh Thanh Primary School (Khanh Vinh District), Le Thanh Tong High School (Ninh Hoa Town), Me Linh High School (Van Ninh District), Tran Dai Nghia (Cam Lam District), etc.
