An International Symposium on Forest Malaria: From Monkey to Man was held in Nha Trang on March 6-7 by the Medical Committee Netherlands-Vietnam-MCNV in association with Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science-JSPS. The event drew the participation of many scientists in Vietnam, Japan, the US, Canada, Brazil, etc.
This symposium offered a forum for the exchange of study results between researchers in the field of malaria epidemiology, mosquitoes and environmental factors related to the infection of monkey malaria parasites in humans.
