Beginning with 12 members, after 10 years of construction and development, Khanh Hoa Association for Information Communication Technology (KAICT) has had 65 business and individual members. Besides disseminating technology science knowledge, the association has taken part in many charity activities.

The KAICT in cooperation with Nha Trang University (Faculty of Information Technology) and vocational schools has held courses and workshops on information communication technology. In addition, Khanh Hoa provincial computer science contests and computer science Olympics have been organized attracting a large participation of students across Khanh Hoa Province.

Ngo Duy Khanh, Chairman of the KAICT said, "The KAICT focuses on disseminating computer science and technology knowledge among the young population. In addition, many courses and workshops are held for companies and businesses to boost computer science and technology application in manufacturing, business and management."

In 2011, the KAICT in association with many agencies such as the Department of Industry & Trade, Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, Young Businessmen's Association, etc held courses and workshops on e-commerce, e-commerce law & e-signature and so on.

Established in 2009 by the KAICT, Khanh Hoa Information Technology IT Club has been joined mostly by information technology businesses with great contribution to the society.

Football games, including IT cup and B.IT cup, are annually held to raise fund for the poor. In 2011, Itclub offered 100 gifts worth VND200,000 and 2 printers to a primary and a high school in Cam Binh Commune, Cam Ranh City. Besides, Itclub members also joined IT DAY first held at Nha Trang University.

Moreover, KAICT has also made great effort to raise money for poor students. 20 scholarships (VND1.5 million each), 14 Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) scholarships, 20 scholarships (VND2million each), etc have been granted to poor students.

2012 is expected to see many practical activities to mark the 10th anniversary of the KAICT's foundation. With 10-year experience, the KAICT plans to host the 2nd Khanh Hoa – Ecom Fair. Other activities such as raising fund for poor students, celebrating IT day, IT cup, B.IT cup, etc will be maintained and enforced.
