2012 Van Ninh District Chess Championship has just opened at Van Ninh District Culture & Sport Center with the participation of 47 players from 13 communities in Van Ninh District.
The first individual prize went to Tran Van Hoa, Van Long Commune, second to Tran Na, Van Long Commune and third to Tran Dinh Quyen, Dai Lanh Commune. Team prizes were awarded to Van Long Commune, followed by Van Hung Commune and Van Gia Town.
The winners will advance to the provincial tournament.
