To solve some tourists’ complaints about canoes and jet skis causing inconveniences on their swimming in Nha Trang sea and unordered umbrellas on the beach , Khanh Hoa Province People’s Committee has asked the city authority and concerned units to re-arrange the beach reasonably.
Recently, Nha Trang Urban Area Management submitted Nha Trang People’s Committee a project of pitching beach umbrellas and marking areas in which engined sea games are allowed. Accordingly, there are only two locations for engined games allowed on Nha Trang sea, including the waters opposite 86 Tran Phu Street and the waters next Vinpearl’s old wharf. Each location is 200 meter in width. Game traders have to set up buoys to form bounds and warnings for swimmers.

After carrying out a survey of actuality of umbrellas on Nha Trang beach and working with hotels and restaurants pitching them, the city’s Urban Area Management decided to remain the number of the sunshades and tear down selling square-shaped. A number of portable sunshades with 2.5 m in diameter will be installed. The distance between two pillars is 5m. The portable sunshades in colors of white, blue, antique white and orange.
“Nha Trang beach always has a lot of tourists as well as residents. The rearrangement of sea games and sunshades on the beach will make it airier and safer”, said Truong Dang Tuyen, director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
