On the occasion of the International Children’s Day, June 1, many shops, bookshops and supermarkets in Nha Trang are offering promotional programs and entertainment for children.
. Many educational toys
Toys are of children’s great favorite. Beside popular toys such as cars, motorbikes, planes, supermen and dolls, the market has a lot of educational toys with which children can study while playing. Some of them are interlocking plastic bricks, picture puzzles, organs, guitars and kitchen play sets. To the age of 3-5, sets of colors, animals, alphabet, numbers or clay are very useful.
Books and stories can be meaningful presents for children. There are a lot of kinds such as comic strips and fairy tales in both Vietnamese and English. Prices fluctuate from VND8,000 to VND35,000.
Clothes and shoes with lovely patterns are good choices for kids. Local products cost VND60,000 – VND150,000/suit. Imported ones from Thailand, China and some others at shops, supermarkets and commercial centers cost VND250,000 – VND450,000/suit.
. Lots of promotional programs
On this occasion, some supermarkets and bookshops have launched promotional programs for children’s products.
At Co.opmart Cam Ranh, there is a discount up to 30% on over 1,000 products for children like milk, confectionary, toys, clothes, etc. and necessary ones like vegetable, meat, poultry, fruits, etc. For example, school uniforms and girl bags are discounted 15% and 35%, respectively while swimwear for children is given 30 – 40% offer. Additionally, child customers can join interesting games, including designing cards, coloring, drawing pictures and watching circus.
Metro Cash & Carry Nha Trang is offering 10 - 40% discount on many toys such as stuffed animals, bicycles, robots, dolls, calculators, crayons and clothes.
Phuong Nam Bookshop is giving 10% discount on school and reference books, 15% on some kinds of notebooks and schoolbags and 20% on some kinds of toys. Moreover, from now to August 20, with a VND300,000 bill, customers can draw a lot for valuable prizes such as electric bicycles, schoolbags, pen cases and books.
