The father is working on Spratly island away from home and have had furlough to see his daughter. Only the mother takes care of the diseased baby.

Every 25-30 days when she gets tired, pale and anorxic and snivels, her mother has to take her to hospital for a blood transfusion. Only 8 months old, the child has given transfusion for 9 times. She was given blood from her father’s comrades for 2 times and had to buy blood for the rest times. Each time costs about VND4 million, as much as her father’s monthly salary.

For her treatment expenses, her parents have sold their house. But now, the family is still difficult and the child still needs frequent blood transfusion to remain her  life.
