The international Workshop on Women Parliamentary Groups and National Strategies on Gender Equality opened in Nha Trang on July 27-28.
The event was jointly organized by the Committee on Social Affairs of the National Assembly of Vietnam and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The workshop focused such topics as progress and challenges of gender mainstreaming through parliament; legal frameworks and strategies on gender equality, etc.
