In Khanh Hoa Province, 37,320 children were given presents, 754 were granted scholarship and nearly 9,000 were supported in different ways during the Action Month for Children 2012 (June 1 – 30), reported the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. The expenditure for the supports was VND1.3 billion.
In additional, a lot of leisure activities for children were held, attracting 57,000 participants. Propaganda of caring and protecting children were done well with 366 articles on media, 341 panels, slogans and posters, 707 leaflets and brochures and 549 pieces of propaganda document.
The total expenditure for the whole month was VND1.7 billion.
