Khanh Vinh District Social Service Center has been a home for unfortunate people for many years. They are brought up here with great care, understanding and love.


Nguyen Thanh Canh, Director of Khanh Vinh District Social Service Center says many orphans are in the care of the center. The center provides the children with health and community-based services.

18 year-old Bo Bo Hoang, Lien Sang Commune, Khanh Vinh District says he  was born lacking parental love and care. As a newborn baby, he used to be placed in care and brought up by his maternal grandparents. 

He was fed with rice soup instead of breast milk. When his grandparents died, he became an uncared-for child.  Luckily, he was taken to Khanh Vinh District Social Service Center in 2007.

Hoang said, "I am very happy to live here in the love and care of all the people here. The center becomes my real home. Hoang is a 12th -former at Lac Long Quan High School , Khanh Vinh District. I will join in social work courses when leaving high school, so that I can help orphans like me."

Tran Thi Huong, 14, residing in Song Cau Commune, Khanh Vinh District says her family is very poor. Huong and her mother was left abandoned when she was very young. She is now a fourth-grader at Song Cau Primary Shool.

"I have received great care and education from the center. I always try my best in my study to reciprocate such a favour for me. I am very grateful for what the center have done for me here," Huong said.

Khanh Vinh District Social Service Center has become the home for the education and maintenance of exposed and deserted young children.

Reportedly, 36 children in the care of the center, which provides care and develops resilience in vulnerable children, enabling them to have access to education and achieve their full potential.

The center aims to make a change that will improve the lives and living conditions of all vulnerable children and their families.
