in Son Binh Commune will start operation in time. The new school with 12 classrooms has been invested nearly VND4 billion. This brings happiness for pupils and parents. “
Son
Binh
Secondary School
will receive pupils of two mountainous communes Son Binh and Son Hiep. Before, the pupils had to walk up to 10 kilometers to go to
Son
Lam
Secondary School
, so many of them dropped out of school. From this school-year, their studies will get easier”, Pham Van Buu, principal of the new school happily said.
In Dien Khanh District, Dien Tan Primary and Secondary School will be established.
Dien
Khanh
Town
Primary School
and Town 1 Primary School will be merged. The new schools will have 12 more classrooms with new desks, benches and teaching equipment to receive more pupils and teachers.
Additionally, Dien Khanh will also open new campuses of
Dien

Nursery School
(invested VND9 billion),
Mac
Dinh

(VND12 billion).
In Cam Ranh District, only 10 new classrooms of

Beside this, schools in the province opened summer classes to retrain weak pupils. However, education of the province also remains some difficulties, especially in mountainous areas.
Son
Binh
Primary School
still lacks a lot of equipment. For example, working offices of the school managing board have no computers.
Primary school
of
Thanh Son
and Ba Cum Nam haven’t enough rooms to two shifts a day. Some nursery schools have to borrow rooms of the commune’s People Committee. Therefore, few primary schools in Khanh Son have day-boarding.
In Van Ninh District, there’s a lack of teachers and medical workers for schools, according to Nguyen Tan Thanh, head of Van Ninh Education and Training Bureau.
Le Tuan Tu, director of the provincial Education and Training Department, said, “Overcoming difficulties, all schools in
Khanh
Hoa
Province
will start new school-year on September 5.”
