With an aim to help poor pupils to study computing and English methodically, TH Nha Trang Computer Limited Company and Mentor English Australia Foreign Language (IMEA) have jointly opened free classes of computing and English. The classes, on Sundays every week, will last in three months.

. Practical skills taught at computing class

The computing class, organized at ITT Nha Trang Center of TH Nha Trang Computer Limited Company, always is full of pupils who are from poor families or charitable houses in Nha Trang and Dien Khanh. They are very eager to study.

Le Thi Nhien, mother of Le Doan Anh Thu, studying at this class, said, “My husband and I are workers at Suoi Dau Industrial Zone. We don’t have enough money to buy a computer for my daughter. Although the class is rather far from my house, we take my daughter here to study computing more.”

“Most of the learners here have known little computing before because they don’t use frequently. Accordingly, their skill is not good. The class aim to teach them practical skills”, said teacher Nguyen Thai Hoa.

. Natural communication at English class

Free English class is held at IMEA Foreign Language Center with learn centered method, which make learners exciting.

Trinh Van Hao, a learner from Van Thanh Ward, Nha Trang, said, “In this class, we are studied English words though games. We like it very much.”

Doan Dac Duc, teacher of the class, said, “I think it’s difficult to teach this class by normal teaching methods as it’s not a compulsory class at school. To make the learners exciting with the class, the learn centered method is the most suitable. I teach them English through games and I see that they feel funny.”

Finishing classes, the learners will be given certificates and facilitated to study at advanced classes.
