Institute of Oceanography on September celebrated 90 years of establishment day and received First-class Independence Medal. The anniversary was attended by the Member of Central Party and Chairman of Vietnamese Academy of Science and Technology Chau Van Minh and the Member of Khanh Hoa Province Standing Party Committee and Vice-chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Duc Vinh.

During the past 90 years, the institute has got good achievement in preservation, management, exploitation, research, aquaculture and development of sea creatures and environment protection for the province as well as the whole country.
