The Department of Education & Training held a ceremony on November 16 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (Nov 20, 1982 - 2012).

Present at the event were Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council and 70 outstanding teachers representing over 17,000 teaching staff in Khanh Hoa Province.
On this occasion, 3 teachers were awarded the title Teacher of Merit by the State President. 3 teachers who are revolutionary martyrs received medals for education life-work posthumously by the Minister of Education & Training.
