Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee held a meeting with relevant agencies on November 22 to take measures to protect the five rare species from extinction.

The shorea falcata is endemic to Vietnam and it is only found in Khanh Hoa. Shorea falcata is included in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
Lumnitzera littorea. |
Lumnitzera littorea is a nationally endangered mangrove tree from the family combretaceaeis.
Dipterocarpus condorensis is endemic to Vietnam. It is found in Cam Duc Town, Cam Lam District.
