Le Xuan Than, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, had talks with French Vice Consul General Stéphanie Petitbon on November 29.
Stéphanie Petitbon mentioned Dr. Alexandre Yersin’s 150th birthday celebration and investment cooperation among French and Vietnamese businesses. She said a book about Alexandre Yersin’s life and career published in France was being translated into Vietnamese and it was expected to make its debut on Dr. Alexandre Yersin’s 150th birthday in Nha Trang.

Le Xuan Than told her Dr. Alexandre Yersin’s 150th birthday was expected to be held on February 28 and March 1, 2013 and mentioned issues related to cooperation in the sectors of tourism, medical care, education, trade, etc.
He expressed the hope France Government would attract French economic groups and businesses to invest in Vietnam, in general, in Khanh Hoa, in particular as well as open a direct flight route from France to the Cam Ranh International Airport to further multi-faceted cooperation, especially in tourism.
