“This is a meaningful occasion which we look forward to but sometimes stress over because I do not know what kind of gifts to choose for my kids’ teachers and I am not sure they like them or not. This year I decide to send them gift vouchers,” says Nguyen Thi Thach Thao, Thai Nguyen Street, Nha Trang City.

Many gift vouchers are available at Maximark Nha Trang (ranging from VND50,000 to VND 500,000) and Fahasa Nha Trang bookstore (from VND100,000 to VND500,000).

Mai Van Cloth Shop also offers gift vouchers worth VND100,000 – VND400,000.

However, some senior parents are not interested in gift vouchers as they think vouchers cannot express much of the givers’ thought and love.

Nguyen Thi Thu Hien (Le Hong Phong St.) says, “I would like to show teachers how much their hard work and care means to my children and family. Therefore, I like spending time going out to select meaningful gifts for the teachers. It is one of the ways of giving thanks and appreciation.
