The Health Care Department held a ceremony on February 26 to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (Feb. 27, 1955 - 2013).
Present at the event were Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary and Le Xuan Than, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee. The Vietnamese Doctors’ Day was a chance to honor the contribution of physicians.
On this occasion, 5 individuals were rewarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister. Many individuals and collectives received certificates of merit by the Ministry of Health and Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.
50 individuals were rewarded campaign medals for people’s health. An emulation flag was awarded to Khanh Hoa Rehabilitation-Education Center for Disabled Children. Le Xuan Than was presented an honorary commemorative medal “For the cause of population”.
