Minister of Agriculture & Rural Development Cao Duc Phat has sent an urgent message to provinces and cities nationwide instructing them to take proper actions in preventing forest fire.

The Minister urged the people’s committees of provinces and cities to take forest fire control measures following the Prime Minister’s directive on the implementation of urgent measures for forest fire prevention to minimize potential damage and losses.
The prolonged hot and dry weather has increased the risk of fire. Forest fires have occurred in many places, including Gia Lai, Lam Dong, Kon Tum, etc.
All communities were asked to monitor warning signs that could lead to forest fires at kiemlam.org.vn.
