Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee in association with the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines held an opening ceremony for the direct air route Nha Trang – Moscow at Cam Ranh International Airport on April 5.
Present at the event were Dinh La Thang, Member of the Central Party Committee, Minister of Transport; Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Chien Thang, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee and Vietnam Airlines leaders.

Speaking at the service inaugural ceremony, Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang urged Vietnam Airlines and relevant agencies to speed up the upgrading of Cam Ranh Airport and building Vietnam Airlines to become a strong trademark not only at home but also abroad.
After the ceremony, Vietnam Airlines’ Boeing 777 carrying over 300 passengers took off from Cam Ranh International Airport, bound for Moscow.
