The Ministry of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs has just given approval to a plan to hold a national children’s forum.
The national children’s forum will open in Hanoi in August in 2013.
Provincial level forums are expected to take place in some 30 provinces and cities in July 2013.
The national children’s forum provides a platform for children to speak out their ideas about current children’s issues as well as express their opinions and aspirations for the implementation of children’s rights, including the law on child education, care and protection.
