On June 14, Khanh Hoa Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation held a ceremony to honor blood donors in response to the World Blood Donor Day. Present at the event was Le Xuan Than, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

17 families, 12 collectives and 56 individuals were praised and granted certificates of merit by Khanh Hoa People’s Committee; 49 collectives, 17 families and 255 individuals received certificates of merit from the local steering board of voluntary blood donation.
Khanh Hoa is among the top communities nationwide in terms of voluntary blood donation with 8,363 units of blood donated since June 2012.
On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Red Cross and Vietnam Youth Federation jointly signed to promote the voluntary blood donation campaign.
