15 teams from southern provinces joined “Discovering the world with PETRONAS” Contest 2013 in Nha Trang City on July 5.

The Natural Science Contest entitled "Discovering Our World with PETRONAS" was held to nurture interest in natural science and promote the spirit of teamwork.

The first prize went to Kien Thiet team (Ho Chi Minh City), second to HAT (Ho Chi Minh City) and third to Bo Cau Trang (Ho Chi Minh City) and DTD (Can Tho City).

Kien Thiet team will represent the Southern region to attend the national round to take place in Hanoi on July 19.

The event is held annually by PETRONAS, a Malaysian oil company in association with the Ministry of Education & Training, the Central Communist Youth Union and Thieu Nien Tien Phong Newspaper.
