Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has issued a decision to found Khanh Hoa Provincial Hospital of Tropical Diseases, Bui Xuan Minh, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Health reports.
Khanh Hoa Provincial Hospital of Tropical Diseases is a public service agency under the Khanh Hoa Department of Health and professional management of the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases.
It has legal personality, a private office, a seal and an account.

The hospital will be dedicated is to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tropical diseases and infections.
Besides, it will be open to all patients transferred from another medical establishments or outside seeking for inpatient or outpatient treatment.
In addition, the hospital will be engaged in medical training, scientific research, primary health care and so on.
How will the hospital be organized, sir?
There will be 3 functional rooms and 8 departments, namely the Department of Polyclinic, Emergency, Pediatrics - Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, clinical Laboratory,and nutrition and HIV/AIDS.

When the new Dien Khanh General Hospital is put into operation, the old one will be upgraded into Khanh Hoa Provincial Hospital of Tropical Diseases.
The Khanh Hoa Department of Health is speeding up the procedures for the establishment of Khanh Hoa Provincial Hospital of Tropical Diseases, so that it will open in early 2014.
