The Sea and Island Management Board (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment jointly held a telecommunications conference on integrated coastal zone management, period 2011 – 2013, in Nha Trang City on July 27.

120 officials from departments, agencies and People’s Committees in the northern and central coastal communities attended the event.

Integrated coastal zone management is considered as a dynamic, multidisciplinary and iterative process to promote sustainable management of coastal zones.
