The 8th National Mathematical Conference is under way in Nha Trang on August 10-14 with the participation of over 700 mathematics professors and researchers nationwide.
The event is to provide a forum for mathematics professors and researchers to foster links and collaboration among themselves and with mathematicians through the discussion of issues, exchange of ideas and the presentation of research findings of the recent 5 years.
On this occasion, PhD, Professor Ngo Bao Chau paid a visit on August 10 to the Communications Officer Training School. Bao Chau is a Vietnamese mathematician awarded the Fields Medal in 2010.
