Nguyen Chien Thang, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, had talks with Andrej Motyl, Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam on August 29 on his working trip to Khanh Hoa.

At the meeting, Andrej Motyl expressed an intention to make a film about Dr. Yersin and hoped Khanh Hoa would create favorable conditions for the Swiss film-makers. The film is expected to be shown in Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany and Nha Trang considered as Dr. Yersin’s second homeland.
Through the film, images of Vietnamese land and people will be featured, hopefully attracting more Swiss tourists to Vietnam, especially Nha Trang.
Nguyen Chien Thang promised to create the best opportunities for the film-shooting and expressed his hope that Andrej Motyl would provide a link between Khanh Hoa and a Swiss community; introduce Swiss investors to Khanh Hoa in all sectors, particularly tourism and labor training.
