On September 5, over 252,000 students of 523 schools in Khanh Hoa Province entered a new school year 2013 – 2014. The students included over 45,000 children at preschool educational institutions, over 100,000 at primary level, over 70,000 at junior high schools and over 37,000 at senior high schools.
Earlier, on September 4, provincial leaders had attended the opening ceremony held by some schools in Khanh Hoa Province.

Uong Chu Luu, Central Party Committee Member, National Assembly Vice Chairman; Nguyen Chien Thang, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee had attended the opening ceremony of Ly Tu Trong High School, Nha Trang City.
In the school year 2012 - 2013, Ly Tu Trong High School had 61% of students graded good and achieved a 100% high school graduation pass rate. The school ranked a 108th among the top 200 schools nationwide with an 84% of university admission rate.
