On September 5, Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography held a workshop on regulations on seagrass and mangrove forest management in Thuy Trieu Swamp in Cam Lam.
The workshop provided regulations and information related to seagrass and mangrove forest management and restoration.
Only 14ha of mangrove has remained in Thuy Trieu. Besides, Thuy Trieu has been known for a wide variety of seagrass species. 8 sea weed species have been identified so far.
The event was an effort to save salt-marsh forest, minimizing environmental pollution.
