The housing support in Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Hoa Province has helped many poor families to settle life and overcome difficulty in life.
Tran Ngoc Hoang in Bac Song Giang Village, Khanh Trung Commune is very happy to have been provided VND40 million to rebuild his house.
According to his wife named Vo Thi Hong, they have a new house thanks to the financial support together with their additional VND10 million.

Living in a safe and solid house is also the great happiness of Dang Thi Pen of Nung Ethnic minority, in Suoi Lac Village, Khanh Trung Commune. She says, “My family used to live in a dilapidated house with a leaking roof. Now I have a new house. I am so grateful to the housing aid.”
The campaign to build houses for the poor implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Khanh Hoa Province in general and of Khanh Vinh District in particular has achieved satisfactory results.
According to the Khanh Vinh District Vietnam Fatherland Front, over VND170 million was donated by organizations and individuals in 2011 and 2012.
5 houses have been built for poor residents in Song Cau Commune, 4 others for the poor in Song Cau and Khanh Trung thanks to the funding in 2012 and 2013. In the two years, Vietinbank has also provided over VND1.3 billion for house construction for 44 poor households in the communes of Lien Sang, Cau Ba and Khanh Hiep.
Besides, Khanh Hoa Provincial Lottery Company has funded the construction of 26 houses, VND30 million each, for the poor in the communes of Khanh Hiep and Khanh Thuong.
Pi Nang Thi Thuong, Chairwoman of Khanh Vinh District Vietnam Fatherland Front says, "The campaign to build houses for the poor has received much support from individuals and organizations, especially big enterprises in Khanh Hoa Province. It has showed great Vietnamese mutual support and solidarity as well as Khanh Hoa Provincial leadership achievement."
A musical night to raise fund for the poor is held in November annually. Pi Nang Thi Thuong, says, “Khanh Vinh still has a high poverty rate. I hope more donations will be made to create and maintain affordable and healthy place for the poor to improve their life.”
