A 42 year-old woman named Mang Thi Xem (Phu Binh 2, Cam Tan, Cam Lam, Khanh Hoa) has just been saved from a copperhead bite.

Mang Thom, her husband says, "Mang Thi Xem was btiten by a copperhead, over 10m long, on her way to work on the field. She was sent to Dien Khanh Medical Center right away and then to Khanh Hoa General Hospital." After 2 days of treatment, she has now recovered.
Reportedly, 2 - 3 copperhead bite cases are sent to Khanh Hoa General Hospital every year and most of them are saved.
