On November 18, Tran Son Hai, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee had talks with Maxim Golikov, Director of Russian Trade Representative Agency in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Maxim Golikov says the trade turnover in recent years between the two countries has grown (about USD4 billion in 2012); Many Russian businesses have opened in Vietnam; Many big Russian companies are interested in investing in Khanh Hoa, especially in tourism sector.
Maxim Golikov appreciated the prospects of economic and commercial cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Russia.
Tran Son Hai thanked Maxim Golikov for his visit to Khanh Hoa, introduced about the province’s outstanding socio-economic achievements, especially in shipbuilding, fishery export, tourism and investment incentive sectors, etc. Khanh Hoa has provided opportunities for Russian investors.
Tran Son Hai also expressed his wish that Maxim Golikov would work as a link for more Russian enterprises to do business in Khanh Hoa Province, especially in the context of the increasing number of Russian tourists to Khanh Hoa.
