On November 19, Thanh Nien Newspaper offered 22 Nguyen Thai Binh scholarships to poor students, whose parents are working on the Spratly Islands. Each scholarship was VND5 million and 1 gift funded by Bac A Bank and TH Corporation with the trademark TH True Milk.

250 additional scholarships will be presented to poor students in Bien Hoa, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Hanoi and border stations.
Reported, Thanh Nien Newspaper has run Nguyen Thai Binh scholarship program since 1991 with the purpose to help poor student to continue with their schooling. Since then, 12,187 scholarships worth VND23 billion have been awarded.
