On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3), Khanh Hoa Provincial Sponsoring Association for the Disabled, Orphans & Poor Patients offered VND20 million to disabled children at Khanh Hoa Rehabilitation-Education Center for Disabled Children.
Since the beginning of the year, Khanh Hoa Provincial Sponsoring Association for the Disabled, Orphans & Poor Patients has held many activities to support the disabled, orphans and poor patients in Khanh Hoa Province, such as cataract surgery for 562 patients, orthopedic surgery for 59 disabled people, together with 404 wheelchairs, 30 bicycles, teaching instrument, 110,000 meals, 4,020 gifts, etc given to the needy.
The charity activities cost VND24 billion in total.
