Khanh Hoa Farmers’ Association held a ceremony on January 17 to receive the first-class labor medal, review the past year 2013 and define direction for 2014. Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council attended the event.

In 2013, 4,820 members were added and the farmers’ fund increased by nearly VND2.5 billion, 248% of the plan. The association fulfilled targets set for cadre training, vocational training for farmers, farmers’ fund, etc.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister offered a certificate of merit to Nguyen Lac, Chairman of the provincial Farmers’ Association; the Ministry of Home Affairs awarded commemorative medals to 7 collectives and 14 individuals; the provincial Farmers’ Association offered emulation flags to 4 collectives, certificates of merit to 14 collectives and 17 individuals.
