Lunar New Year Fair 2014 is scheduled to open at Dam Market, Nha Trang City from the 15th day to the 30th day of the last lunar month.
Nguyen Van Hoi, Deputy Chief of Dam Market Management Board says the Lunar New Year Fair is a traditional event to meet local entertainment and shopping demands during Tet Holiday.

How will the fair be organized this year?
There will be 48 stalls located in front of Dam Market Trade Center, selling lunar New Year goods, including candies, jams, fruits, etc. Others will be for entertainment.
Specifically, in front of Dam Market Trade Center will be 10 stalls selling candies and jams, 10 selling tea, alcohol, water melon seeds, 5 selling flowers and 10 for games. At the junction near B Apartment will stand 4 stalls for games, 6 selling tea and alcohol; and 3 selling watermelon seeds on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street.
How about good quality control at the lunar New Year fair?
The market management board will cooperate with local authorities to warn sellers not to purchase fake, banned products or use harmful artificial colorings.
Inspection will be carried out on pricing, measuring and weighing devices. Unsound games will be banned. Violators will be given punishment and moved out of the fair.
To assure safety, patrols will be made by guards in association with Khanh Hoa military force, Nha Trang City Public Security, vanguard youth, and Public security of Xuong Huan and Van Thanh wards.
In addition, 24-hour fire control will be maintained. Besides, clean-up will be enhanced to assure appealing appearance of the fair before, during and after the Lunar New Year’s Eve.
