A contest on the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory has just begun. The event running on February 20 to April 30 is jointly organized by the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation, the Vietnam Post and the Vietnam Stamp Association.
Contestants are required to answer questions about postage stamps featuring the Dien Bien Phu campaign and the victory’s anniversaries. The contest is open to all Vietnamese and foreign children living and studying in the country.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Hanoi or Dien Bien Province on May 7.
