Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health in association with Nha Trang City People’s Committee, Khanh Hoa Public Health Association and National Committee on Smoking & Health held a conference on February 20 to review 2 years of building smoke-free Nha Trang City.
After 2 years of implementation, the project has received great support and response from local institutions and residents in Nha Trang City in particular and in Khanh Hoa in general.
4 posters and 40 big boards had been set up at People’s Committees of communes, wards and institutions, and small posters on public means of transport propagandizing building smoke-free Nha Trang City. In addition, over 3,000 non-smoking boards had been set up and leaflets had been handed out together with many propaganda activities joined by over 2,500 people.
