Staff of Nha Trang SOS Children’s Village have fulfilled their duties in bringing up unlucky children.

“The job requires a deep love for children. Although busy every day, we feel happy and proud to help ensure that the children grow up healthily and have a promising future.

Their maturity gives me more effort to fulfill my motherly responsibilities,” says Doan Thi Hong, a mother of 7 children with the youngest one aged 2 and the oldest,  21.

Children receive caring support at Nha Trang SOS Children's Village.

Besides taking care of the children, the village staff also provide them with life skills and law. Children’s loss and unhappiness are compensated with love and care.

Vo Thanh Dat born in 1998, Suoi Cat Commune, Cam Lam District, has been living in the village since 2000. “All the staff not only teach us good things but also bring us great care, family emotions and trust in life,” Dat, an orphan says. Dat is a tenth-grader now and always commended for his good study.

Children in the village used to lack parental love and care. Therefore, the village provides children with a home, a family and a new mother in a purpose-built SOS Children’s Village.

Le Hung Nghe, Assistant Director of Nha Trang SOS Children's Village says, “The institution has boosted the campaign on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral examples among the staff, creating opportunities for them to raise their care and education quality.”

Ho Thi Kieu, a mother at 12A house says, ‘We consider the kids as children of our own and thus, try to bring them the best that can be offered. I always make my effort to improve my educational knowledge and nursing skills.”

Nha Trang SOS Children's Village is committed to maintaining supportive and healthy environments for vulnerable children in an effort to bring them family happiness, confidence and trust in life.
