The club has gathered young doctors with great enthusiasm to contribute to a good cause. Its initial 50 members has doubled to over 150. After 7 years of operation, the club has proved active involvement of the youth in social work.

Many meaningful activities have been held such as health care workshops, propaganda, technical application in medical treatment and so on.

One of frequent activities of the club is community health care. Over the past years, thanks to great concern and support from Khanh Hoa General Hospital and charity organizations, the club has provided free check-ups and offered gifts to residents in disadvantaged and remote areas.

Doctor Nguyen Dac Thuan, Vice Head of the club says, “We organize many community activities, including 16 missions trips to remote areas and islands, benefiting 200 - 400 people every year."

Their feet have been found in many places from Khanh Son to Ninh Van (Ninh Hoa) and Binh Ba (Cam Ranh). They have left a good impression on local residents.

The mission trips have provided not only aid for locals but also valuable experience for young doctors. Doctor Bui Thi Thanh Vinh, a club member says, “Joining the charity work has helped me to be more mature and willing to help and share with the less fortunate and poor patients.”

According to Pham Tien, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Khanh Hoa Province, the club has contributed greatly to the federation tasks and young people’s charity campaigns, leaving good impressions on local residents.
