On April 29, Nguyen Chien Thang, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee had talks with Ahmet Akif Oktay, Turkish Ambassador to Vietnam.
At the meeting, Nguyen Chien Thang introduced some socio-economic highlights of Khanh Hoa Province and expressed his hope that Ahmet Okif Oktay would provide a link for Turkish businessmen to invest in Khanh Hoa, particularly in yacht building projects.

Ahmet Okif Oktay highly appreciated tourism industry potentials of Khanh Hoa. Nguyen Chien Thang and Ahmet Okif Oktay agreed on the celebration of twining between Nha Trang and Altalya, a city on the Mediterranean coast of southwestern Turkey. The ambassador also suggested Khanh Hoa would send art groups to join festivals and fairs in Altalya to promote Khanh Hoa image, open a representative office in Altalya to bring Turkish visitors to Nha Trang, etc.
