According to Mai Van Thang, Vice Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Natural Recourses & Environment, this year’s Earth Day-EDN (April 22) themed "Green city" was celebrated with many practical activities such as clean-up campaigns, solution to environmental issues, etc.
Reportedly, the first Earth Day was held in the U.S.A on April 22, 1970 and the event has been globally recognized since 2009 to raise pubic awareness of environmental protection to keep the planet green.
