On May 7, Pacific Ocean University ( POU) held a ceremony to celebrate the International Nurses Day (IND).
Over 140 medical, nursing and pharmaceutical students joined the event which was designed to review the international nursing history and contributions of Florence Nightingale, considered as the founder of modern nursing, have made to society as well as discuss about the current nursing training in Vietnam.
Reportedly, over the past 5 years, POU has trained nearly 800 nursing students apart from other departments such as accounting, business administration, information technology, banking finance and English language.
