On July 22, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) presented 175 scholarships “Together with you to school” worth VND3 million each to disadvantaged students in Khanh Hoa Province and children of officials and soldiers currently on duty on the Spratly Islands.

Present at the event were Nguyen Thi Doan, Vice-President, Chairperson of National Fund for Vietnamese Children; Nguyen Chien Thang, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee; and represenatives of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs and the Command of Navy Zone IV.
Launched in September 2012, the scholarship program has granted scholarships to over 6,500 students in 48 provinces and cities.
